However, the use of the word "free" here denotes only lacking currency to achieve, not without effort or sacrifice/exchange..... and of course, one's definition of "best" is going to be subject to interpretation..soooo...your mileage may vary on this phrase in regards to your applying context.
Anywho, money is only a tool like anything else, without agreed upon value assigned to it, it becomes worthless.

not quite, original point of money was to store goods iin exchange for "I owe you"s ->banks. Buying comes from needs to own goods of others. If you have everything you need, do you really need to buy something? Is it worth buying that something, which will not really cover your needs?(There is a whole Philosophical research there)

Eh, money is awesome, but as someone who has had tons of cash... it also comes with alot of issues as far as family/friends all wanting a handout and can really cause some shitty situtations... so yes, money is awesome, tho, I suggest if you ever become wealthy, keep it to yourself... don't let everyone know, or you'll find yourself with the same issues I've dealt with. Worlds full of Parasites. Tho, obviously, enjoy the money you worked for in anyway you see fit. it's a weird good/bad situation.

Yeah there's more sides to wealth.

It seems to come with lots of worries. The rich people I know all have businesses. They constantly thinking how to maintain their business, how to improve it, how to pay less taxes, how to anticipate on the coming market, and which assets to keep their wealth in. Stay in Euros? Buy Dollars? Stocks? Crypto? Gold, silver, platinum? Put the money in rolexes? Buy real estate, fix up the building, sell it for profit? Especially in the current financial crisis, I hear almost nothing but "how can I maintain the current value of my wealth". All worries you don't have if you got a 9 to 5 job.

On the other hand, it also seems like fun, as if playing a game. Your wealth is your high score, and you just trying to score as high as possible. It's exciting and fulfilling when you're good at the game and can outplay the rest.
But it's more than that, you can do a lot of good things with wealth as well, like for example helping up a start-up company that's into green energy or developing AI technology.

How often I hear "rich people bad" nowadays. One can think of themselves as morally superior as they want, at the end of the day if I can become a millionaire and donate half a million to combating climate change I'll have done more good for the earth than the vast majority ever could.

The second half of the episode got so serious, it didn't feel like I was just watching Yamori, Akira and Mahiru making youthful memories. This will definitely be an unforgettable night for them, that's for sure. It took me by surprise when the detective knew about Yamori's dream to become a vampire, like how did she find this out? Yamori hasn't mentioned it since she met him, so even if she was following him how did she learn this? Did she already know about him and purposely set up a way for them to meet? I'm curious to learn more about her.

I felt bad for that teacher though, he's been living like that for 10 years, it's crazy how much the fear and anxiety must have been swallowing him up since he was having those urges and couldn't do anything to get rid of them other than isolating himself. I got so worried for Akira, that must have been a real shock but seeing Yamori slam the chair was such a surprised, I got worried he killed him forgetting he was a vampire lol.

It will be interesting to see how this incident will affect Yamori's wish of becoming a vampire, I'm curious where he will go from here because he hasn't been exposed to something like this yet.

I think it'd be the vampire bite holes on neck would be a dead giveaway.. Esp since sitting right in front of each other. Too hard to hide the evidence

I’m sure the detective did some digging on Yamori, since she was clearly suspicious of him already during their first encounter.

Yeah but how did she even obtain that information is what I'm having a hard time coming around to, unless she's acquainted with vampires no-one but the one voiced by Hikasa Yoko knows that he wants to become a vampire, other than Akira of course. Unless she's seen a similar situation to Yamori's before and connected the dots or she really did purposely wait for him on the bridge because she already knew of him.

I don't think she knows of Ko before meeting him, but she realize that Ko knows about vampires after seeing his bite, she also knows that Ko knows Aakun, after all she verify his pulse while grabbing his hand to see if Ko lies to her. And i think is safe to assume that the missing persons she investigate were because of vampires and she knows everything about them. Sorry for my English.
